Got out and planted some seeds in the flower beds. Just hollyhocks and monarda. I may try sunflowers from seeds again. They didn’t do so well last summer. Only one of my seeds actually became a plant. I’m blaming it on the crummy winter instead of spring we had last year.
In other news, I have a great crop of thistles coming up this year. Which means I should be on the hunt for my gardening gloves.

Yup–they grew (which surprised me hugely!) and yep, they’re still growing.
Of course, they’re a clump of 20 all smoosed into one spot…LOL
Of course, I don’t remember what I planted where…. *shaking head*
