i want a pool, too.

i transplanted the hollyhocks to a place where i will remember to water them and the peonies to a spot that actually gets some sun. then i planted some more monarda cuz you can never have enough monarda.

planted: 4 o’clocks, cleome, red sunflowers, white sunflowers, cosmos and moonflowers. woo hoo!

this space, just outside the window, is in need of a kousa dogwood. don’t you think?

been crossing the little things i mean to do but never get to off my to do list. it feels pretty good to finally get them done and lessen the internal nagging. plus, now i get to make a whole new list of things to put off.

i am grateful for bags of top soil and planters and seeds for sunflowers. can you tell what i’ll be doing this week?

there’s been so much rain lately m & k’s yard is now a bog. i think they should try growing rice.
